Timmy shapes Guns,I shape shortboards.

今日はバッシャムでグラッシング中のEPSのボードをチェックし、

次に作る日本向けのロング＆ショートボードの為の打ち合わせを

ペイントアーティストとして

少し遅めの出勤でした。

カスタムオーダーのショートボードを数本削りました。

途中パット・ローソンさん達も来て

僕の金髪を見て笑っていました。

一方、ティミーさんは特大のブランクでEPSのガンを削っていました。

厚さ５インチもあるブランクでEPSとはいえ重たそうでした。

でもティミーさんの手にかかると

ちょちょいのちょい、といった感じでした。

スゲェ。ハンパねぇ。

Serious brothers "California Gun"

Both 9 feet California guns are shaped by Mr.Terry Martin.

This brand new board is custom ordered by a surfer lives in North California.

He wants a California gun like the other one(original) with more volume and little more longboard taste.

This is the original one.

This board is made by 60 years old blank

which is old 12 feet longboard from beginning of foam surfboards era.

Terry Martin skin off and put new stringer

because original stringer was eaten by bugs.

And he shaped this california gun

out of 60 years old longboard.
