Yuya Taguchi
He is 18 years old guy from Japan.
He loves Sun Dolphin Surfboards and
finally ordered custom board.
We create his new board out of his old board shaped
by Japanese shaper in Japan.
The original board is 5'9" x 18 3/4 x 2 1/4
and his new board is 5'7" x 18 5/8 x 2 5/32
New one is smaller than older one.
He's been riding the new one a couple weeks
and he said
"it's less floatation but it's paddle faster and take off faster than old board"
"I don't feel it's shorter than old one"
"it goes really fast and I can rip really quick"
"this is my magic board"
He is very happy
and I'm very happy too.

祐也くんは日本からサンクレメンテにサーフィンしに来た
１８歳の青年です。
サンドルフィンサーフボードをこよなく愛してくれています。
そこで遂にカスタムボードを作る事になりました。
彼の乗っていた日本のシェイパーが作った板をもとに
僕なりに所々、彼のサーフィンに合うように改造して
ひとまわり小さいボードを作りました。
彼が言うには
「これ前のボードより短いし、浮力も少ないけど
パドルもテイクオフもこっちの方が早いっす！」
「すっげー早いし、リップもスパン！スパン！って
超キマリます！」
な、な、なんと嬉しいお言葉。
